Yard Sale Kit

Our UsedPEI.com yard sales kits are completely free. They include:

• Posters – two 11 x 17 yard sale posters designed to stand out from traditional yard sale signs and let people know where to find you
• Balloons – if a yard sale has no balloons does it really exist?  Bright purple balloons to help attract attention to your sale

Map Feature

Once you have posted your yard sale to our UsedPEI.com garage sale classifieds category, your ad will appear on our interactive map.

Below is an example of what people will see when they search for yard sales on UsedPEI.com. Users can click on each map marker to see full details of your yard sale.

Getting Started

Step One: Post your yard sale details to the garage sale classifieds category of UsedPEI.com. Be sure to list your full address and an example of the items you have for sale. Post your yard sale by Thursday at midnight. Our team promotes the yard sale map on a Friday, ready for the weekend!

Step Two: List a few items for sale on UsedPEI.com and link the ads to your yard sale listing. If people contact you to purchase, let them know you can hold the piece at your yard sale address. Listing on UsedPEI.com is completely free and you can post as many items as you like. It’s a great way to connect with thousands of buyers.

If you have items left over from your yard sale, use our Free Listings tab to keep that stuff out of the landfill!

Step Three: Contact the UsedPEI.com community coordinators, Jill and Lorenda and let them know you would like a yard sale kit and some social media love. They will be sure to promote your yard sale via Facebook and Twitter. You can contact them via Facebook or by emailing Lorenda@used.ca.
