This year for Valentine’s Day, we decided to show the love to the people we love the most, YOU! In Victoria, Winnipeg, and Ottawa we did what we could to let our communities know how much we appreciate them, whether that was handing out swag or surprising them with some entertainment.

Our Victoria Angel, Dan, and I went out to Belmont Park in Colwood, just outside of Victoria, to hand out tote-bags containing all sorts of goodies just to say “thanks”. The people who live in Belmont Park are in some way or another connected to the Department of National Defence, and as such may find it only a temporary home. But that means they use UsedVictoria.com quite often, and we wanted to let them know how much we appreciate that.

While there we met Toby the Great Dane and just had to get a picture with him!

Dan also spent some time at the St. Joseph’s Fundraiser in Victoria, handing out chocolates and tote-bags at this Medieval-themed bash! This was in addition to helping out another UsedVictoria.com family by getting them firewood, and continuing to walk around handing out chocolates and tote-bags to thank everyone for their support and interest in our site!

In Winnipeg we helped celebrate the season of love by participating in the Winter Carnival and spreading the word about UsedWinnipeg.com by sharing chocolates with our friends in Manitoba!

Ottawa got a special treat – Gee Gee’s Dance Team from the University of Ottawa helped us out by surprising people at the Rideau Canal with an impromptu dance performance! You can see our mini-flashmob in the video below. Afterwards the girls handed out UsedOttawa.com chocolates made especially for our community out East. Thanks girls!
