UsedPEI.com gathers baby sleepers for Queen Elizabeth Hospital maternity wa

What: For the second time this year, UsedPEI.com worked with PEI residents to collect baby sleepers for the maternity ward at QEH, having collected close to 250 through the work of their #UsedHelps program. Islanders were encouraged to donate new or gently used sleepers to help welcome PEI’s newest residents. Community Coordinator Lorenda MacEarchern will be delivering the sleepers to QEH on behalf UsedPEI.com.

Why: UsedPEI.com focused on sleepers for infants aged 0-3 months. QEH does not have budget to support the purchase of sleepers, and routinely looks for outside support. Late last year, UsedPEI.com was made aware of the need from QEH and organized the first semi-annual sleeper drive, collecting more than 200 sleepers in January 2014.
